Our advertising policy
Readers come to Views from the Sip because we don't run just anything. That standard is exactly what makes a placement here worth something — association is the product.
What we won't run
In keeping with the Certified Sip pledge, we don't run ads that discriminate, mislead, exploit, or work against the communities we serve. We won't run predatory financial products, hate content, or anything designed to deceive our readers. We reserve the right to decline any creative that cuts against the trust our readers place in us — this protects them, and it protects the value of your placement.
How review works
- Every ad is reviewed by a human before it runs. We'll show you a preview in the exact slot, cropped to fit, before anything goes live.
- We may ask for a different image or a small change to the copy. We're easy to work with — the goal is an ad that looks good next to our writing.
- Approval isn't automatic and payment doesn't guarantee placement. If we can't run your ad, you aren't charged.
Disclosure & tracking
Every ad is clearly labeled as sponsored. We count impressions and clicks so you can see how your placement performs — with no cookies and no tracking of our readers as individuals. You get a private dashboard link showing just your numbers.
Founding rates
Our earliest advertisers get our lowest rates — and keep them. As the audience grows, these prices won't for anyone who booked early. You're not overpaying for tomorrow's reach; you're underpaying because you believed early.
